Foreign Exchange
KDB Bank Uzbekistan offers FX transactions in Uzbek Soum (UZS), US Dollars (USD), Euro (EUR), Russian Rubles (RUB), British Pound (GBP), Japanese Yen (JPY), Chinese Yuan (CNY) and other exotic currencies.
Types of Transactions
Based on the transaction amount and the currencies being exchanged, the Bank offers the following types of transactions:
TOD
Transaction that is carried out on the same day it was concluded.
TOM
Transaction that is carried out on the next business day after it was concluded.
SPOT
Transaction that is carried out on the second business day after the day it was concluded.
SWAP
Swap transactions are conducted in major foreign currency pairs USD/UZS and EUR/UZS. Consists of two opposite currency exchange transactions carried out according to the previously agreed currency exchange rate with the specified value date.
FORWARDS
FX forward (foreign exchange forward) is a customized, over-the-counter (OTC) agreement between two parties to exchange a specific amount of one currency for another at a pre-determined exchange rate on a set future date. The bank carries out deliverable and non-deliverable FX forwards (NDF) in USD/UZS and in major foreign currency pairs. FX forwards in EUR/UZS, GBP/UZS and other currencies with participation of UZS in the currency pair is carried out based on availability.
